    Principal

    Tony Bullock was a legislator in Suffolk County, NY, who also served four terms as Supervisor of the Town of East Hampton, Long Island. Bullock introduced legislation advancing LGBTQ rights and was a strong advocate for environmental protection and land preservation. He was chairman of the Suffolk County Supervisors Association and the East End Supervisors and Mayors Association.

    From 1996 to 2000, Bullock served as chief of staff and spokesperson for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-NY). He was responsible for the operation of the office with 60 full-time employees in Washington, DC, New York City and upstate New York. As chief of staff, Bullock was the Senator’s principal liaison to New York’s House delegation and maintained ties to New York State political leaders and local elected officials. During Bullock’s time with Moynihan, the senator was ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee and a senior member of the Environment and Public Works Committee. Bullock helped oversee the first reauthorization of Moynihan’s groundbreaking transportation legislation, the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA).

    For five years, Bullock was an Executive Vice President for Public Affairs at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, helping clients facing challenges on Capitol Hill and across the country. Before joining OGR, Bullock served for three years as senior adviser and director of communications to Mayor Anthony A. Williams of the District of Columbia. Bullock was the principal spokesman for the District during the terrorist attacks on 9/11, the anthrax attacks of 2001, and the beltway sniper shootings in October of 2002.

    At OGR, Bullock works closely with New York’s Congressional delegation. He focuses on trade
    association and financial services clients, working with the House Financial Services Committee, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, and related regulatory agencies. Bullock holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and lives in Washington, DC.
